Smartek is an online system that can be easily used by NSLHD and contractors. It provides real time reports on compliance and inductions that can be made available to internal and external agencies, such as Workcover or for accreditation purposes. There are no on-going costs for NSLHD, and if other Local Health Districts implement Smartek, pre-existing services providers do not need to pay another fee to register. They only required to complete a site specific induction.

The contract extension was granted in recognition of Barringtons having effectively provided the required services under this contract to the City of Melbourne. The capabilities of Smartek have far exceeded our expectations. The ability to gather all subcontractors, employee details and compliances (insurances, industry white card, plant operator tickets) has been a useful tool for tracking and auditing purposes. With Smartek you can add you compliances and assigned to your desired sites. Once compliances have been added, you can easily invite your contractors inputting their email requesting pre-qualification prior to attending your facility. The Smartek team will review the documentation against your requirements (e.g. vaccination batch number) and approve or reject accordingly. Employees / contractors then scan their unique QR code at the entry point and the system will let site access control know if entry is permitted based upon your set compliances. From there you can monitor results in real time from your dashboard or by downloading custom reports.

    A leading Aged Care provider within Australia, Eldercare is at the forefront of regulatory best practice implementing Smartek as a tool to manage workforce compliance.
